Just a quick update

Thanks to some judicious pattern-editing, I'm well into the heel flap of the sock already! I love the way the leaf pattern is turning out. I'm using gray reinforcing thread on the heel, which is making it a little dark. Once they're done I'm going to have to work on getting better pictures; the colors are so much better in real life.

oooooooh! Me likey!

How'd you tweak the pattern, if I may ask? Wait, I think I see... you seem to have shortened the leg. Was that the extent of it, or is there more? I think I see garter edging on the heel flap (?), but I don't remember if that was in the pattern or not...

they are turning out wonderful-- i'm up to the heel flap on mine too.

oh, and totally random, i had a dream you were making native americain inspired beaded baby booties-- they "were from" the 50 baby booties to knit book, but i didn't see any knitting because the beading was so dense. in my dream they were beautiful! anyway, see you wednesday.

Wow, this sock is going to look so amazing, it already does - what a great pattern, and I love the yarn you're using for it!
